Whilst hiking the Appalachian Trail an older and wiser gentleman explained the devastation of the chestnut blight across our country in the early 1900's. Mesmerized by the story this has encouraged our reforestation efforts of the Majestic Chestnut, a native hardwood to our region. The chestnut provides not only a versatile gem vivid in a sweet savoriness but also provides us the opportunity to decrease our carbon footprint and leave a legacy for our family and our community.

Working on the tree farm has brought four generations of our family together. There are not words to explain the joy our hearts feel seeing our family working together bringing The American Chestnut trees back to their former glory.

There's an incredibly peaceful feeling working in the sunshine among the trees. We enjoy teaching our family, our neighbors and our community about the wondrous and majestic chestnut tree and all it has to offer.
